Suzuki Violin Classes
Our Suzuki violin classes, with Suzuki-registered teacher Yueching Ting, share the delight of music with young students and are built on the belief that every child can learn to play the violin in a nurturing and supportive environment. Students develop essential technique and learn music by ear through weekly private lessons focused on listening and repetition. This approach helps students cultivate beautiful tone and confident sound, and makes learning new pieces and more advanced techniques much smoother later in their musical journey.
Strong parental involvement is an important part of the Suzuki method, where parents participate in lessons, support structured home practice and help guide their child's musical journey.

Note reading and sight reading are essential skills that will be introduced and continuously developed as students progress through the program. Much like learning a new language, young children typically begin by speaking before they learn to read and write. Similarly, we introduce one skill at a time, building upon each foundation step by step, to prevent students from feeling overwhelmed by multitasking too early in their musical journey.

Monthly group classes give students the chance to review and reinforce concepts with their peers through fun games and activities.

Biannual recitals celebrate each student's hard work, growth and joy in making music.
