Hyun Soo Kim

Hyun Soo Kim is a versatile and accomplished musician specializing in voice and piano instruction. With a rich background in performance and education, she has honed her skills as a highly trained instructor, working with students of all ages. Her voice sessions focus on essential techniques such as breathing exercises, expanding vocal range, and expressive interpretation of music, while her piano instruction emphasizes proper posture, sight-reading skills, and music theory fundamentals.

Mrs. Kim earned her degree in Voice and Piano from Kyunghee University of Korea and furthered her education with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from the London College of Music and Media University in England. Her impressive performance history includes operatic roles in "Turandot" and "La Traviata," as well as being a member of the Phoenix Opera, where she performed in "Madama Butterfly." Additionally, she has showcased her talents in "The King and I" with Peoria Musical and served as a soloist and Choir Conductor for Grace Fellowship Church, alongside numerous solo performances. With her diverse experience in both Western and Eastern musical traditions, Mrs. Kim combines academic training with a passion for teaching, making her a well-rounded and knowledgeable instructor.
